The ‘Grote kerk’ is a spacious medieval church, with a characteristic saddle roof tower dating from the fourteenth century and a Kam en Van der Meulen organ from 1840, which has about 30 voices. It is certain that a small church already stood on the same site around the year 1000. (https://hervormdoudewater.nl/) During a tower climb you will pass the bells and the carillon. Once at the top, a beautiful view awaits. In clear weather you can even see as far as Rotterdam and Utrecht. More on: https://oudewater.net/
