House rules
Rules regarding own activities

These rules have arisen from the environmental rules and to maintain good relations with the inhabited environment. If damage to the environment or other boats occurs through your fault, you can be held liable for this.

  • During work on your boat, waste will be created that must be disposed of. You can take care of the proper and tidy disposal of your waste yourself. You can also let us dispose of this. Please discuss with us the costs involved. Regular waste and large quantities entail extra costs. This also applies to chemical waste. (Oil, solvents, paint, tar scraping, etc.)
  • Used paint cans may only be placed in the container if they are properly emptied and scraped out.
  • When working on your boat where dust is released, or where tar or paint can be spilled, a tarp should be placed under the boat.
  • A sanding machine with a dust bag must be used for sanding work. (Please also take this into consideration for others who have just painted their boat)
  • Grinding steel is not allowed. This always causes trouble, especially on fiberglass/GRP boats. If grinding is absolutely necessary in an exceptional case, you should discuss this with us and this can perhaps be carried out under a tarpaulin.
  • Sanding is allowed. But spreading rust and iron dust must be avoided, as this causes damage to surrounding ships. Unfortunately this is very underestimated!
  • You can do the work on your boat yourself. Work by third parties is not permitted. You can always discuss this with us if you want to have work carried out by us.
  • Due to the risk of fire, smoking and open fire are prohibited in the buildings and on the site. Heaters are also not allowed.
  • It is not allowed to make noise after 6:00 PM, on Sundays and public holidays. You can no longer use mechanical tools.
  • The floor must be left clean and tidy every day after work has been completed. (Paint cans may not be left under the boat on the property.) Please also remove all plugs from the sockets.
